Kitchen Staff – Food Service & Preparation

About the role

We are looking for reliable Kitchen Staff to prepare breakfast and lunch, support serving lines and occasional catering events for Opaa! Food Management. The role involves all kitchen positions, ensuring food is prepared, presented and served safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain serving lines, ensuring food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare menu items according to Opaa! recipes, including breads, cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, cafeteria, dishwashing area and storage spaces.
• Manage inventory using FIFO procedures and requisition supplies as needed.
• Record production data, temperature logs and complete HACCP and food‑safety documentation.
• Serve food to customers with proper portion sizes, utensils and presentation.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and menu plans.
• Commitment to food safety regulations (HHFKA, CACFP) and HACCP processes.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Reliability in attending meetings, trainings and daily dish duties.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Operation of kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers and grinders.
• HACCP compliance and food‑safety temperature monitoring.
• FIFO inventory management.
• Baking of breads, cakes and cookies.
