Theatre Team Member

About the role

As a Theatre Team Member at Cinemark, you will create a welcoming environment for movie‑goers and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience from ticket purchase to concession service. You will work across multiple areas of the theatre, including ushering, box office, and concessions, depending on staffing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and provide prompt, professional service.
• Operate Cinemark’s POS system for all cash and card transactions.
• Verify tickets, direct guests to the correct auditorium, and enforce MPAA rating and studio policies.
• Provide information on pricing, movies, special events, and alternative selections.
• Answer phone calls and guest inquiries courteously.
• Conduct theatre inspections to monitor presentation quality, sound, and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby, aisles, restrooms, auditoriums, and parking areas.
• Prepare and serve food, operating cooking, warming, and popping equipment safely.
• Sanitize high‑contact areas regularly and comply with food safety regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Energetic, friendly attitude with strong guest‑service focus.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
