Server – Beer & Wine

About the role

The Server – Beer & Wine will enhance the movie‑going experience by guiding guests through food and beverage selections, focusing on beer, wine, and other menu items. Working at Cinemark theatres, you will interact directly with guests, provide suggestions, and ensure quick, accurate service at the counter.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile.
• Maintain full knowledge of bar and menu items to recommend appropriate selections.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the register.
• Handle all cash and card transactions, keep the register balanced, and log off securely.
• Verify guest identification for all alcohol sales and ensure consumption occurs in designated areas.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to increase sales.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to confirm order accuracy.
• Sanitize high‑contact surfaces and follow personal protective equipment guidelines.
• Monitor safety hazards and report any concerns to management.
• Perform additional duties such as cross‑training in other theatre positions when needed.

Required profile

• Proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state regulations).
• Completion of basic food‑handling training and any required local certifications.
• Successful completion of a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Consistent attendance and an energetic, friendly attitude.
• Strong guest‑service orientation and effective communication skills.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math abilities.
