Remote Leasing Assistant – Latin America (Independent Contractor)

About the role

Chapman Management Group is seeking a motivated Leasing Assistant based in Latin America to support its remote leasing operations. Working as an independent contractor, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, helping to generate leads, guide applicants through the process, and ensure a smooth leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage prospective resident leads, following up via phone, email, or text daily.
• Convert leads into scheduled appointments and qualify prospective residents.
• Assist with resident applications and maintain accurate records in the property management system.
• Provide daily assistance to current residents and update their files.
• Complete weekly leasing reports and stay informed on competing communities.
• Enter and follow up on resident service requests, closing tickets promptly.
• Support resident activities and retention initiatives.
• Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and applicable laws.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of sales or customer service experience; leasing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with low‑income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience using property management software such as Entrata or an equivalent platform.
