Leasing Coordinator – Residential Property Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Leasing Coordinator to oversee the end‑to‑end leasing process for residential properties. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them from initial inquiry through move‑in while ensuring a smooth and compliant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and leasing platforms.
• Qualify prospects, schedule showings, conduct tours, and communicate property details.
• Manage leads in the CRM, maintain accurate interaction records, and follow up to maximize conversion.
• Process applications, coordinate screening, verification, and documentation.
• Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and move‑in paperwork; coordinate deposits, utilities, keys, and onboarding.
• Maintain up‑to‑date listings with correct pricing, photos, and availability.
• Monitor occupancy metrics, support lease renewals, and help reduce vacancy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, fair‑housing, and local rental regulations.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in leasing, property management, or related real‑estate roles.
• Strong understanding of the residential leasing process and relevant regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven sales, negotiation, and customer‑service abilities.
• Highly organized with strong follow‑up and time‑management capabilities.
• Comfortable handling multiple prospects and applications simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with leasing/property‑management software such as AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware, Yardi, or Rent Manager.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms.
• Google Workspace proficiency.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
