Pickleball Professional – Club Sports Instructor

About the role

The Pickleball Professional will lead the club’s pickleball program, delivering engaging clinics, private lessons, and events that inspire members of all ages to play and improve. As the sport’s ambassador, you will promote participation, drive membership growth, and ensure a vibrant, welcoming environment on the courts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, schedule, and promote pickleball clinics, private lessons, and programs for adults, juniors, and seniors.
• Provide instruction for group and individual sessions, focusing on skill development and enjoyment.
• Organize and market leagues, round‑robins, drop‑in sessions, ladders, and tournaments to boost community engagement.
• Promote pickleball memberships to prospective members and conduct orientation sessions for new participants.
• Maintain courts and equipment to high safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist members with all pickleball‑related needs, handling last‑minute requests professionally.
• Support club operations by performing additional tasks as assigned, ensuring overall standards are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching or coaching pickleball to diverse age groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt instruction to varying skill levels.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by program schedules.
• Team player who can collaborate with other club staff and support broader club initiatives.
