Physical Therapist

About the role

The Physical Therapist will work directly with orthopedic surgeons in an outpatient setting, delivering post‑operative, protocol‑driven, patient‑centered rehabilitation. The role involves both clinical evaluation and hands‑on treatment to support patients through their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for orthopedic patients.
• Document objective measurements, including psychometric, isometric, and functional assessments.
• Conduct functional capacity examinations and work‑conditioning programs.
• Lead Patient Care Conferences and manage patient charts.
• Supervise clinical and administrative staff in accordance with the California Physical Therapy Board regulations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, flow, and billing while maintaining quality of care.
• Develop and maintain patient education programs and collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners.
• Participate in clinical training, meetings with site management, and continuing education activities.

Required profile

• Active and current Physical Therapy license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and active care/clinical exercise.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with physicians, staff, and patients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with current Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
