Legal Intake Specialist - Accident Injury

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Intake Specialist to join a U.S. personal injury law firm on a remote basis. The specialist will guide injured clients through the intake process, collect essential case details, and ensure accurate documentation in the firm’s case management system.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to potential personal injury clients.
• Collect detailed information about accidents, injuries, medical treatment, insurance and case circumstances.
• Enter intake data accurately into the firm’s CRM or case‑management platform.
• Screen cases against firm intake criteria and schedule consultations for qualified leads.
• Communicate empathetically, maintain confidentiality and follow up with prospects who have not completed intake.
• Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff regarding new potential cases and keep organized records of all communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in legal intake or client screening for a U.S. personal injury law firm.
• Fluent written and spoken English; fluent Spanish is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and personal‑injury case flow.
• Ability to handle high call volumes, multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Reliable computer, headset, high‑speed internet and a quiet work environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or case‑management platforms such as Filevine, Litify, Clio or SmartAdvocate.
• Proficiency in using general CRM software for data entry and tracking.
