Junior Customer Operations Representative (Remote)

About the role

Valatam is seeking a Junior Customer Operations Representative to provide bilingual (English‑Spanish) support to clients and their customers. This entry‑level, fully remote position is open to candidates located in Latin America and offers the chance to develop customer‑service expertise while working with an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer communications via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist customers with routine inquiries such as account updates, general questions, and basic troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members when needed.
• Follow up on client requests, send reminders, and track pending communications.
• Perform accurate data entry and update customer profiles in internal databases and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information required to resolve queries.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the customer service team.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service or virtual assistance.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.

• Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696 – $1,044 per month, based on experience.
