Video Editor (Social Media & Advertising)

About the role

BM Digital is seeking a talented Video Editor to join its fast‑moving production team. You will craft short‑form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and paid‑social campaigns, turning raw footage and user‑generated content into polished, performance‑driven ads that match the brand’s voice.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and other social platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborate with creators to refine UGC‑style clips, adding effects, captions and music.
• Produce performance‑focused ads for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, optimizing for each platform’s technical specs.
• Stay current on social media trends and viral editing styles.
• Work with the marketing team to A/B test video ads and iterate based on performance data.

Required profile

• Available for an initial three‑month contract, with extension possible based on performance.
• At least 2 years of experience editing for social media or digital advertising.
• Strong understanding of social media ecosystems and best‑practice video formats.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe Media Encoder
• Adobe After Effects (knowledge)
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Color correction, music supervision and sound mixing
• Knowledge of digital camera formats, frame rates, codecs and file‑based workflows
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Frame.io, Zoom, Monday.com and Slack
