Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain highly reliable OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters for its global clients. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to critical infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters in both on‑premise and AWS environments.
• Create and enhance tooling to streamline operational workflows.
• Configure and support ancillary infrastructure applications.
• Monitor cluster health, respond to incidents, and resolve service issues.
• Diagnose and fix problems within OpenShift/Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Implement metrics to track performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in automation using Python, Bash, Salt, or similar tools.
• Hands‑on experience installing, managing, and troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
• Advanced English communication skills.
