Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and secure OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. You will work remotely, applying software‑engineering practices to keep production systems robust and automated.

Key responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
• Create and improve tools that streamline operational workflows.
• Configure and support ancillary infrastructure applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cluster and service incidents.
• Manage infrastructure both on‑premises and in AWS.
• Diagnose issues in OpenShift/Kubernetes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop metrics to assess service performance and health.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Salt or similar).
• Hands‑on experience installing, managing, and troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
• Advanced English communication skills.
