About the role
BairesDev is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and secure OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. You will work remotely, applying software‑engineering practices to keep production systems robust and automated.
Key responsibilities
- Build, automate, and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
- Create and improve tools that streamline operational workflows.
- Configure and support ancillary infrastructure applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cluster and service incidents.
- Manage infrastructure both on‑premises and in AWS.
- Diagnose issues in OpenShift/Kubernetes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop metrics to assess service performance and health.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Strong background in Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Salt or similar).
- Hands‑on experience installing, managing, and troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
- Advanced English communication skills.
