Shopify Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a skilled Shopify Engineer to join its global development team. You will work remotely to design, develop, and maintain Shopify‑based eCommerce solutions for a high‑profile client, ensuring the platform scales and integrates smoothly with other business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the eCommerce team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid.
• Build, maintain, and enhance custom Shopify apps and plugins.
• Integrate Shopify with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and other third‑party services.
• Optimize website performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Shopify Liquid.
• At least 2 years of experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.).
• Proven track record in developing Shopify apps.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with headless Shopify architecture is a plus.
