Shopify Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Join BairesDev’s development team as a Shopify Engineer and help a leading client elevate its eCommerce platform. You will work remotely, designing, building, and maintaining Shopify solutions that integrate with broader business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the eCommerce team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance custom Shopify apps and plugins.
• Integrate Shopify with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and other external systems.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the Shopify platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Shopify Liquid.
• At least 2 years of experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Proven track record in developing Shopify apps.
• Experience with headless Shopify architecture is a plus.
• Upper‑intermediate or higher English proficiency.
