Senior Family Law Paralegal

About the role

A growing U.S.-based family law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal/Case Manager to take ownership of complex Florida family law matters. This senior‑level position works remotely, supporting attorneys throughout case preparation, discovery, financial analysis, and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive understanding of assigned cases, monitor deadlines, and proactively identify missing information.
• Draft and prepare filings, pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery requests, parenting plans, and settlement documents.
• Review financial disclosures, spot inconsistencies, and organize complex financial data for attorney review.
• Prepare attorneys for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials, including case chronologies and exhibit lists.
• Submit documents via the Florida Courts E‑Filing Portal and manage county‑specific filing and scheduling procedures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Florida family law paralegal experience with independent case ownership.
• Strong knowledge of Florida family law procedures, documentation, and e‑filing systems.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, judgment, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication.
