Litigation Assistant

About the role

We are a compassionate personal injury law firm seeking a Litigation Assistant to support our attorneys in civil litigation matters. The role is fully remote and offers a clear path toward further legal education through an LLM scholarship program.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents while maintaining up‑to‑date case files.
• Monitor deadlines, hearings, and trial dates; coordinate schedules for attorneys and clients.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to provide case updates.
• Conduct legal research, summarize findings, and support case strategy development.
• Handle administrative tasks such as phone calls, emails, correspondence, and preparation of court materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) and familiarity with civil litigation processes.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (completed or in progress) is a plus.

• Independent contractor contract with a monthly salary and annual salary increase.
• Fully remote work schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm PST.
