Senior BI Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end business intelligence solutions. You will work remotely, creating robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and Power BI dashboards that drive data‑driven decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines in Python using Delta Lake, PySpark, pandas and REST API integrations.
• Design star and snowflake schemas and implement a semantic layer in Power BI/Fabric.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports, including complex DAX measures, KPIs and calculated columns.
• Write advanced SQL queries and manage data manipulation in SQL Server or equivalent platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for BI using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Build data‑quality and validation frameworks to ensure reliable reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for ETL/ELT, including Delta Lake, PySpark, pandas and REST APIs.
• Experience designing data models (star/snowflake) and semantic layers in Power BI/Fabric.
• Advanced DAX skills and proven ability to develop complex Power BI visualizations.
• Expertise in SQL Server (or similar) and advanced SQL querying.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD for BI using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Background in building data‑quality and validation frameworks.
• Fluent English (advanced proficiency).
