Real Estate Analyst

About the role

Midfield Real Estate is looking for a detail‑oriented Real Estate Analyst to support commercial real estate underwriting and market research on a remote, part‑time basis (approximately 20 hours per week). The role requires strong Excel skills, comfort with financial information, and a high level of accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Clean T12 and rent roll data for incoming deals and input it into underwriting models.
• Edit and update proformas, compile area sales and rent comps, and run deep‑dive analysis to validate underwriting assumptions.
• Gather comparable data for the brokerage team, create graphs and dashboards, and troubleshoot formulas within models.
• Create and maintain analysis templates and perform other underwriting/analysis tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong Excel skills with experience in financial analysis and formula building.
• Prior real‑estate experience, especially in underwriting or market research.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formula building, troubleshooting, dashboards).
• Familiarity with real‑estate underwriting models and proforma structures.
