Linux Support Engineer (Remote)

About the role

RapidSeedbox is looking for a Linux Support Engineer to join its fully remote team. You will deliver world‑class technical support to customers and help maintain the company’s Linux‑based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality support for technical and non‑technical customer issues, aiming for 95%+ positive ratings.
• Resolve tickets and monitoring alerts independently, with minimal escalation.
• Write and maintain knowledge‑base articles to improve support efficiency.
• Perform quality‑assurance testing across the organization.
• Guide new users through onboarding, especially during the critical first 90 days.
• Submit regular performance reports and own key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Linux system administration and customer support.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Linux distributions: Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS.
• Virtualization technologies: OpenVZ, KVM, SolusVM.
• Monitoring tools: Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Bash scripting for automation.
• Basic networking knowledge.
