Account & Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Account & Business Development Manager to lead consultative B2B sales conversations with executives and founders at U.S. and Canadian SMBs. This remote position is ideal for a strategic sales professional who can uncover business pain points, build trust, and guide prospects through a multi‑step sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full B2B sales cycle from outreach to closing, including 15‑minute discovery calls and 30‑minute business presentations.
• Research prospects and their business context before calls to demonstrate preparation and professionalism.
• Use SPIN‑style questioning to identify situation, problem, implication, and need‑payoff opportunities.
• Handle objections with structured, trust‑building responses and secure clear next‑step commitments.
• Communicate confidently with executive‑level decision makers.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior experience in B2B sales, business development, or consultative closing.
• Proven track record in prospecting, discovery, and closing sales opportunities.
• Experience communicating directly with executives, founders, or senior decision makers.
• Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and consultative sales methods.
• Coachable mindset with ability to adopt a structured sales methodology.
