Senior Software Engineer – AI Workflow Automation

About the role

MincaAI is building AI‑powered workflow automation software for the insurance industry. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own key modules, deliver end‑to‑end features and help ship our intelligent agents that automate complex operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver full features end‑to‑end, from backend API to frontend integration.
• Design and implement microservices using Python and FastAPI following clean‑architecture principles.
• Build and maintain the React/TypeScript dashboard and workflow UI.
• Define data models and write migrations with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
• Integrate external APIs such as Microsoft Graph, OpenAI and other third‑party systems.
• Set up and optimise CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers and AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS, S3).
• Drive architectural decisions, propose improvements and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert‑level Python (FastAPI) and strong React/TypeScript skills.
• Solid understanding of clean architecture, DDD and micro‑services patterns.
• Experience with Docker, AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for AI and familiarity with LLM APIs.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to make architectural decisions.
• Experience in startups or small autonomous teams.
• Excellent written communication in English (Spanish optional).
