Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager will lead the implementation of Eni’s security programmes across its facilities, assets and personnel. Reporting to the central security function, the role ensures protection against physical threats, crisis situations and organized crime infiltration while supporting business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Eni security procedures for personnel, assets, accommodation and facilities.
• Lead crisis management, emergency response and journey management programmes.
• Review physical security measures and ensure functional security systems in all sites.
• Supervise manned and technical security contracts, guaranteeing compliance with Eni standards.
• Assist in emergency and contingency planning and provide security support for major meetings.
• Establish real‑time security information networks and advise management on emerging risks.
• Analyse infiltration risk by organized crime and provide crime‑prevention advice.
• Coordinate protective personal security and develop security awareness training for staff.
• Liaise with local police, security forces, embassies and other relevant organisations.
• Monitor political developments that could affect employee safety or asset protection.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of security management experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Background in police or military services.
• Demonstrated negotiation abilities and diplomatic handling of multicultural stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
