Entry-Level Cook (Cook 1)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook 1 to join our club’s culinary team. In this entry‑level position you will support daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting senior cooks in delivering high‑quality dishes for our members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and organize your workstation, execute daily prep tasks and store food items according to company standards.
• Prepare and plate menu items such as salads, entrees, daily specials, and other dishes under the guidance of Cook 2, Cook 3 and the Executive Chef.
• Receive, store and manage inventory including condiments, dressings, salsas and soups.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, counters and waste zones.
• Communicate any product needs or quality issues to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodate last‑minute requests and assist in service recovery.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from more experienced kitchen staff.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Strong teamwork attitude and professional communication with guests and colleagues.
