Lifeguard

About the role

We are seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to join the Aquatics team at Invited’s private clubs. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of members, guests and staff in and around the pool area while delivering a welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool continuously during operating hours, special events and private functions.
• Enforce all pool rules, club policies and swimming hours.
• Register members and guests entering the pool area to track usage.
• Position lifeguard stations strategically to eliminate blind spots and maintain coverage at all times.
• Take breaks only when another lifeguard is on duty, including during meals and restroom visits.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, lounge chairs, tables and pool office; open and close facilities as required.
• Replace lane lines and store equipment properly after use.
• Complete daily administrative tasks such as charge slips and inventory checks.
• Assist with other club duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safety and ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional demeanor and good communication with members.

Required skills

• Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid qualification.
