Technical Manager (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Technical Manager to act as the technical authority in client engagements. You will work closely with sales, delivery, and presales teams to translate prospect needs into concrete solutions, proposals, and team structures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to meet leads and prospects, turning requirements into clear documentation and value propositions.
• Travel to client sites or events when needed to showcase BairesDev’s capabilities.
• Lead technical discussions to define optimal solutions, team composition, and project estimates.
• Partner with presales on proposals, cost estimates, and staffing recommendations.
• Provide consultancy on best practices across software delivery, cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle building software with teams.
• 3+ years of specialized experience in a specific SDLC area, language, framework, or technology.
• Proven experience selling technology outsourcing through pre‑sales or sales teams.
• Subject‑matter expertise in at least one vertical domain.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
