Team Leader – Venezuela Scoping Mission (Consultant)

About the role

Relief International is seeking a short‑term Team Leader to manage a one‑month scoping mission in Venezuela following the June 2026 earthquakes. The consultant will be based in Caracas, travel to affected areas, and coordinate remote engagements as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day planning, implementation, and delivery of the scoping mission.
• Coordinate locally engaged support staff and ensure alignment with technical, operations, compliance, security, and resource‑mobilisation teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, site visits, and consultations with authorities, donors, and partners.
• Guide partner and operational mapping, and contribute to the final scoping report and options paper.
• Represent Relief International in agreed meetings while adhering to authorization limits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian coordination, post‑disaster health recovery, or emergency preparedness.
• Ability to engage government authorities, donors, and local partners in a high‑pressure, time‑bound environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Venezuela, including remote and earthquake‑affected sites.
• Clearance for advanced pre‑contracting checks if field travel is required.
