Spanish Medical Interpreter

About the role
We are looking for a fluent Spanish‑speaking medical interpreter to join our remote team. The role involves providing professional interpretation for healthcare calls, ensuring clear communication between patients and medical professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and interpret accurately following the Interpreters Code of Conduct.
- Use industry‑specific medical terminology while interpreting.
- Participate in internal professional training sessions.
- Report daily activity and any issues to the team leader.
Required profile
- Bilingual proficiency at native or near‑native level in English and Spanish.
- At least one year of interpreting experience (preferred but not mandatory).
- High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
- Strong listening, note‑taking and memory retention abilities.
Required skills
- Steady wired internet connection.
- USB wired headset.
- Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS.
