Spanish Medical Interpreter

About the role

We are looking for a fluent Spanish‑speaking medical interpreter to join our remote team. The role involves providing professional interpretation for healthcare calls, ensuring clear communication between patients and medical professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and interpret accurately following the Interpreters Code of Conduct.
• Use industry‑specific medical terminology while interpreting.
• Participate in internal professional training sessions.
• Report daily activity and any issues to the team leader.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency at native or near‑native level in English and Spanish.
• At least one year of interpreting experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong listening, note‑taking and memory retention abilities.

Required skills

• Steady wired internet connection.
• USB wired headset.
• Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS.
