Spanish Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Spanish‑bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support our physicians remotely. You will play a key part in preparing accurate medical records, ensuring compliance, and helping maintain smooth clinic workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation and charts for physicians.
• Ensure compliance through self‑documentation attestation.
• Update patient histories, physical exams, and other health information in electronic records.
• Send completed documentation to physicians for review and approval, following facility‑specific procedures.
• Monitor turnaround times for basic lab results and screening procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
• Perform additional clerical tasks to boost provider productivity and clinic workflow.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Reliable home office setup with a laptop/desktop (i5 processor, 8 GB RAM), 35 Mbps internet, noise‑cancelling headset/webcam, and a dedicated work space.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict documentation protocols.

Required skills

• Proficient data entry.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission compliance requirements.
