Social Media Brand Strategist – Creator Agent

About the role

Toptal is seeking a Social Media Brand Strategist to join a brand‑new venture as a Creator Agent. You will work directly with senior leadership to onboard, coach, and accelerate the growth of content creator users, shaping the foundation of a high‑performing creator‑support function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑to‑1 coaching to creators on audience growth, engagement, and monetisation across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
• Analyse creators’ full content plans, set weekly performance goals and assign actionable tasks to improve CTR, retention, follower growth and engagement.
• Identify and activate brand partnership opportunities once creators achieve strong traction.
• Design, test and document coaching methodologies, turning insights into repeatable playbooks and training materials.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Operations Director to refine the Creator Agent function and prepare for scaling.

Required profile

• Senior creator strategist with proven success growing accounts on major social platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset; able to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and a builder’s mentality – comfortable operating like an early‑stage founder.
• Self‑starter who can move quickly in a fast‑paced, fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of YouTube, Instagram and TikTok ecosystems and their analytics tools.
• Experience creating and executing content strategies that drive measurable growth.
• Ability to develop structured coaching frameworks and documentation.
