Shopify Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Join BairesDev’s Development team as a Shopify Engineer and help a leading client elevate its eCommerce platform. You will design, develop, and maintain Shopify sites and integrations while working fully remote with a global team of top‑tier talent.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the eCommerce team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid.
• Build and maintain custom Shopify apps and plugins.
• Integrate Shopify with CRM, ERP, and payment gateway systems.
• Optimize website performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Shopify Liquid.
• At least 2 years using a JavaScript framework such as React, NextJS, or VueJS.
• Proven track record in developing Shopify apps.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience with headless Shopify architecture is a plus.
