Shopify Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a skilled Shopify Engineer to join its global development team. You will work remotely to design, develop, and maintain Shopify‑based eCommerce solutions for a leading client, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless integration with other business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the eCommerce team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement custom Shopify themes and templates using Shopify Liquid.
• Develop, test, and maintain custom Shopify apps and plugins.
• Integrate Shopify stores with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and other third‑party systems.
• Monitor and optimise website performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Shopify Liquid.
• At least 2 years of experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React, NextJS, VueJS, etc.).
• Proven track record in building Shopify apps.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
