Senior Web Engineer (React)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Web Engineer to own the web experiences that our users and merchants interact with daily. You will work on merchant onboarding, dashboards, internal tools and other high‑impact flows where real money moves.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Backend teams from requirement gathering through production deployment.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clean, scalable React architectures.
• Design and maintain shared component libraries and front‑end architecture.
• Define testing, monitoring and performance budgets to keep the platform reliable.
• Write technical documentation and set standards for the team.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience building production React applications.
• At least 1 year of experience leading or mentoring developers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on simplicity and maintainability.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• State management (Redux, Context API or similar)
• Testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
• Component libraries / design systems
• Monitoring and analytics setup
• Familiarity with SSR/meta‑frameworks such as Next.js and modern build tooling
