Senior Project Associate – NFI (Caracas)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Senior Project Associate to support its Non‑Food Items (NFI) programme in Caracas. The role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of NFI project activities.
• Compile, summarise, analyse and present data on specific project topics, highlighting key issues for decision‑makers.
• Monitor budget implementation, propose adjustments and ensure financial compliance.
• Act as the focal point for administrative coordination, liaising with internal units and external partners to obtain clearances and follow‑up on actions.
• Draft status reports, identify shortfalls, escalate issues to the supervisor and suggest corrective measures.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience in project management, humanitarian assistance or related fields.
• Proven experience in coordinating multi‑stakeholder projects, preferably in migration or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and produce clear reports.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with both internal and external partners.
