Senior Project Associate – Monitoring & Evaluation

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate to lead Monitoring and Evaluation activities for a project based in Caracas. The incumbent will independently manage project implementation, ensure activities align with established plans, and provide analytical insights to adapt to field conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall implementation of the project.
• Monitor progress of activities, identify implementation challenges and recommend adjustments.
• Research, compile, analyse and present data on national, regional and international developments, legislation and relevant documentation.
• Track budget expenditures, verify fund availability and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience in project implementation and monitoring.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make evidence‑based recommendations.
• Excellent written communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
