Senior Project Associate (Information Management/DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate to lead information management and data‑driven decision‑making (DTM) activities for its programmes in Caracas, Venezuela. The role supports the implementation of migration‑related projects, ensuring data quality, analysis and reporting align with IOM’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support information management processes for IOM projects in the field.
• Collect, validate, and analyse migration‑related data to produce actionable insights.
• Prepare and disseminate reports and visualisations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate data‑driven approaches into programme planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Geography, Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Administration, Communications or a related field, with at least five years of relevant professional experience; or a high‑school diploma with seven years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading information‑management or data‑analysis activities within an international or humanitarian context.
