About the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to lead application modernization projects. You will work remotely with a global team, migrating legacy systems to modern PHP frameworks and ensuring high‑quality code delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute modernization projects, moving legacy applications to Symfony or CodeIgniter.
• Rewrite and refactor business logic from older codebases into modern PHP architectures.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guarantee smooth migration and integration.
• Deliver high‑quality, standards‑compliant code under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP.
• Hands‑on experience with CodeIgniter and Smarty templates.
• Hands‑on experience with Symfony and Twig.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
