Senior .NET Developer (6-month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to own critical backend services within a large-scale enterprise integration platform. The role is a 6-month contract focused on designing, building and maintaining event-driven, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure that connect multiple business verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate features of the core integration layer from concept to deployment and monitoring.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions.
• Collaborate with the Principal Architect, tech leads and peers to deliver scalable RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Take full ownership of tasks, ensuring code quality, testing and CI/CD best practices.
• Communicate progress and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in a distributed cloud environment using Application Insights or similar APM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with C# and .NET 6/8.
• Strong English communication skills for interaction with a US-based team.

Required skills

• C# and .NET 6/8 (or .NET Core).
• Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure API Management.
• Application Insights, Datadog or New Relic for observability.
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs.
• Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, unit/integration testing (TDD a plus).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
