Senior Elixir Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Elixir Engineer to design and build high‑performance, real‑time backend services. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier engineers, delivering scalable solutions for demanding clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust APIs and backend services using Elixir, Phoenix, and Ecto.
• Implement high‑concurrency features with LiveView, GenServers, and OTP patterns.
• Architect and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and complex queries.
• Ensure system reliability through Erlang/OTP supervision trees and fault‑tolerant design.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into clean code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to maintain high engineering standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, specifically with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Proven ability to build real‑time, concurrent backends using OTP and GenServers.
• Strong understanding of functional programming principles and data modelling with Ecto/PostgreSQL.
• Experience creating interactive web applications with Phoenix LiveView.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
