Security & General Services Manager – Caracas & Valencia

About the role

The Security & General Services Manager will lead Colgate‑Palmolive’s security strategy for its operations in Venezuela, overseeing both the Caracas and Valencia sites. The role combines physical security leadership with the management of general services to protect people, assets and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute robust physical security and crisis‑management strategies aligned with corporate goals and local regulations.
• Lead, train and evaluate the in‑country security workforce, ensuring high performance and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits, create mitigation plans and coordinate with external security partners.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal and Operations to embed a security‑aware culture across the organization.
• Manage the security department budget and oversee executive‑protection programs, including high‑security vehicles and specialized equipment.
• Direct the General Services function and support additional organizational priorities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Engineering, Criminology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience in security management.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex risk environments, develop policies and lead high‑performing teams.
