Research Analyst – Market & Economic Research

About the role

Orinoco Research is seeking a full‑time Research Analyst to join its Caracas office. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality market, economic and political analysis that supports client decision‑making across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market and macro‑economic research, collecting and cleaning relevant data.
• Analyze datasets using statistical methods and produce detailed reports.
• Assess political and economic risks and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Present insights clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support due‑diligence, market entry strategies and risk‑management projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with political and economic trends in Latin America and the Caribbean is a plus.
