Reporting and Data Analyst – DTM Assistant

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Reporting and Data Analyst to support its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) activities in Caracas. The analyst will turn data collected from emergency assessments into clear, actionable information for IOM, national authorities, UN agencies and humanitarian partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data on affected populations, mobility, displacement, needs, temporary shelters and operational gaps.
• Produce accurate and coherent reports and information products that meet DTM standards and IOM reporting requirements.
• Present findings to support evidence‑based decision‑making for migration and humanitarian interventions.
• Collaborate with field teams and partners to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Data Science, Geography, Communications or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, OR a high‑school diploma with five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data collection, analysis and reporting in humanitarian or migration contexts.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with diverse datasets.

Required skills
