Remote Python Developer – Backend & AWS

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and operate backend services and data processing systems on AWS. The role is fully remote and offers end‑to‑end ownership of microservices and asynchronous pipelines that power core product functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain asynchronous and batch processing systems on AWS (SQS, Lambda, ECS).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy, operate, and monitor services in AWS environments.
• Debug and resolve production issues, improving reliability, performance, and observability of distributed systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of production backend development with Python.
• Strong experience with FastAPI framework.
• Proven experience building event‑driven architectures on AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Advanced SQL skills with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with Pytest.
• Proficient English communication.
