Remote Python Backend Developer

About the role

Oberstaff recruits highly qualified professionals in Latin America to work remotely, full-time, for companies worldwide. This Python Backend Developer position is based on the Bayma Internet Servicios Comerciales, SL profile: you will help design and develop technological solutions, implementing backend functionality accurately, securely and efficiently according to the client's or product team's technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Work from detailed technical documents and ensure integrations, APIs and databases function optimally.
• Anticipate technical issues, propose improvements and keep clear, proactive communication with the team.
• Implement the functionalities defined in the specification documents.
• Develop in Python, using .NET when the project requires it for specific integrations.
• Manage Git repositories and perform basic SQL queries from Python.
• Integrate cloud services and APIs such as Google, WhatsApp, Telegram and payment gateways.
• Take part in technical meetings and track assigned tasks.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of verifiable Python backend development experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Spanish time, with one hour break.
