Remote Paralegal – Employment-Based Immigration (USD Pay)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced immigration paralegal to join our fully remote team. You will work closely with U.S.-based attorneys, handling employment‑based visa cases and supporting clients throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and prepare immigration documents such as visa petitions, affidavits, appeals, and motions.
• Submit petitions and applications to U.S. immigration agencies, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Conduct legal research on immigration statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, providing updates and answering inquiries.
• Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for each matter.
• Prepare and review immigration forms for various visa categories.
• Assist attorneys with administrative tasks and track visa deadlines.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a legal assistant, law clerk, or paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm.
• Law degree (or equivalent) from your home country.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (C1+) and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Resident of Latin America with a reliable laptop and stable internet connection.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal case‑management software such as Clio or MyCase.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures, visa types, and forms.
