Remote Land Surveyor / Civil Engineer (Civil 3D)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with proven land surveying experience to join our remote team. The role focuses on designing and overseeing civil engineering projects related to land development, public works, and utility infrastructure while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage grading, drainage, roadway, and utility plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
• Prepare detailed survey documents, including as‑built, foundation, road inventory, legal description, and wetlands maps.
• Perform hydraulic, hydrology, and erosion control calculations for stormwater and detention ponds.
• Provide technical guidance on feasibility, cost‑effective solutions, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct quality control reviews of all drawings and survey drafts before final sign‑off.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree with verifiable experience in land surveying and Civil 3D.
• Advanced spoken English (mandatory) and strong ability to interpret topographic and boundary surveys.
• Experience in drainage and sewer system design.
• Portfolio or sample projects and a voice note required for screening.
