Remote Dental Receptionist & Insurance Coordinator (US)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Dental Receptionist and Insurance Coordinator to support a U.S. dental practice. The candidate will handle front‑desk duties, patient communication, and insurance verification from a home office, ensuring smooth daily operations for the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place patient calls professionally via phone, text, and email.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and send reminders for dental appointments.
• Verify dental insurance benefits, eligibility, and update patient records.
• Assist with treatment plan follow‑ups, claim submissions, and resolve insurance‑related issues.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in dental software.
• Coordinate with the dental team throughout the day, including video calls.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a dental office front desk or insurance coordination.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
• Reliable internet connection, computer, headset and a quiet work environment.
• Availability to work during U.S. business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental.
• Experience performing dental insurance verification and claim follow‑up.
