Python Developer – Remote Backend Engineer

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join its fully remote, globally distributed team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services and APIs that power core product functionality for leading tech clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Create and optimise PostgreSQL database schemas and complex queries.
• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, serverless infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to improve reliability and observability.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and participate in peer reviews.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Proven track record building robust APIs and services with Python.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
