Project Manager – Airport Project (Venezuela)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major airport development in Venezuela. The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution from planning through completion.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, quality, and performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commercial, Contracts, and Project Controls.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies, plans and performance objectives.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and apply corrective actions.
• Conduct project meetings, reviews, reporting and executive presentations.
• Handle project risks, changes, claims and commercial interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships and drive timely decision‑making.
• Lead commissioning, handover and project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in airport, infrastructure, EPC or construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams and complex contractor environments.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, contracts, commercial management and project controls.
• Track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision‑making skills.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• International project experience preferred.
